Fellowship on 28/3/10
齐学赞美操
Learning points
- Learnt thhat worshipping God does not confine to just singing hymns or praises, but also with our own body.
- Learnt from the verse that we have to be prepared to fight against the evil one!
Ephesians 6:14-17
14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Ive received the email from pastor nip, with attachments from the talks (个人报道训练 and 福音难题解答(: Ive forward the email to you all already! (: Please look through it!
The attachment includes a templete teaching us how to write 得救见证 and also a sample of a 得救见证. There are also some of the verses suitable for spreading the gospel ( good to memorise them! )

And as for worship on 4/4/10 this coming sunday, it would also be a combined worship ( cc1 & cc2 ) - easter sunday.

Shan will still be away in chiangmai, while the rest will probably be back from camps/overseas trips(:
Vincent has been slightly unwell since last weekend, lets all keep him in prayer.
Loretta has sent an email to update us about her prayer items, here goes(:
1) I'm doing kitchen and service practical these 3 weeks, I finished one week of kitchen already and tomorrow is my last day. Tomorrow will be my so called kitchen exam as well, so pray for me.
My hands are getting dry because of the weather as well as the kitchen chemicals maybe. My back is also hurting now ): arhhh. pray for me! ^^
2) I am still finding my internship and I contacted hotels in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Macau and one in Hangzhou. I will have my interview from the hotel in Hangzhou probably next week. There are some hotels that replied me but still looking at my details. Hopefully a hotel will reply me soon and accept me! :D
3) Thank God that I'm getting quite used to the environment here, the people here are friendly and I really enjoy being with them now. However, I still miss the people in Singapore a lot a lot, including you all, Timothy fellowship! :DDD (how are you all! any new members?)
4) Thank God that I have the chance to serve Him as well. I have already agreed to be the pianist the last Sunday of March, which is 2 weeks later. I have not been touching musical instruments for quite some time, so I hope I will do fine :D
5) and lastly, i am here to say that i am coming back in june! =D hope to see all of you!

Updates,
Vincent, jacqueline, yanning and manshan will not be joining us for fellowship this week.
-Vincent will be having school camp.
-Jaqueline will be going on an overseas school trip to vietnam from sunday morning to wednesday evening
-Manshan will be flying to thailand, chiangmai for a cip trip from 14 march to 23 march
-Yan ning will be out of town for a school overseas trip
please keep them in prayers(:

This week's a busy week for some, the J2s are mostly having their tests/exams right? haha
All the best for the tests! Heres a verse for you, ps wong also shared this with us last fellowship (:

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.
For another group of us, those who have just collected our A lvl results, its time to decide whats next for us? Some may have already decide, some undecided. But we all know that god'll be with us and showing us the direction ahead. (:

Lets keep one another in prayer(:
